This accident happened in Texas a few
days ago. My hubby knew the guys that were in the accident..One is in critical condition
with a broken leg, and the other died..The driver had fallen asleep at
the wheel while the other was sleeping in the back bunk...
My husband is upset about the whole situation, i know i am cause i am married to a long haul truck driver and i worry all the time. Gotta start looking for clothes for a funeral when payday comes around for my husband and me.. Still need to find somebody to watch the kids..We still have not heard when the funeral will be yet, but i do know the small company my husband works for will be shut down for a day or 2 when the funeral comes around.
My heart goes out to all the truck drivers who drive those 18 wheelers and their families for what they have lost and not being home for when they are needed.
I hope everybody stays safe out on the road to wherever you may be traveling to.
My husbands company that he works for is in Arizona near Phoenix....

I have some friends, (husband and wife team), who drive across country every week and I worry about them so much. I make sure they are checking in at Facebook regularly, and if they don't, I try to get in touch with them so I know they are ok. I know you worry about your husband when he's out on the road. Falling asleep at the wheel is so easy to do when you drive for hours and hours. Big hugs to you and your hubby. So sorry to hear about his co-workers. Take care.

Thanks guys for stopping by...my hubby has been yelled at by alot of people that he better be well rested before he gets behind the wheel of the truck! We are now trying to find proper clothes to wear to the funeral for whenever thats gonna happen
Well I finally got through this atrocious week and made it in here to visit too.
This was tragic and you are so correct. It is on hell of a hard life for all!!
My prayers for the families! I'm very glad your guy is safe!!
